Terror Cosmico is an incredibly powerful distortion that produces a huge, raw and dynamic amp like sound and response. It is also our homage to the spaghetti western movies and B series horror films that inspires the sonic mojo and looks of this poisonous machine. So, let’s light it up!

The Terror Cosmico takes the classic Tone Bender MK.III to the maximum output volume and gain by reversing the polarity of the key diode and removing the tone stage. The result is a colossal, full bodied, unfiltered sounding distortion that still contains the gnarly temperament and liquid fuzz of the original circuit.
Highly sensitive due its germanium transistor core, Terror Cosmico is extremely responsive to your attack and your pickups output. It is a pretty mean sounding device that will produce thunderous crunch even at low gain settings but also cleans extraordinarily well and opens the grain as you roll your guitar volume down.

Terror Cosmico delivers gushes of volume and gain. It is really loud (that’s why it comes with earplugs!). ¿And what to do with all this power? Well, we thought in adding an alternative mode called ABDUCCION. Switching to that mode, will cut on some bass and add some treble to allow you use all this volume as a boost with other gain devices without the low frequencies collapsing in your amplifier. It is also a very cool sounding mode. Neck pickup surfers will love it!

This pedal can suit a variety of styles very well. It sounds great as a wall of sound with low tuned guitars or bass or it can be dialed to produce classic overdrive fuzz tones in other alternative or more classic genres.

*Terror Cosmico pedals are built using selected NOS sovietic Germanium transistors and diodes as well as high quality new production components and the best hardware. Each unit is hand painted, screen printed and hand wired with love in the Mono Portal.

**This pedal is based on a vintage circuit that uses positive ground. Due to this, you cannot daisy chain this pedal or it won’t start. Use instead quality power supplies with isolated outputs (Voodoo Labs for example) or dedicated 9v power supplies.
